I am in agreement with Lector and Meathead. Oh Lord what did I do to deserve such a fate?

I'm hoping for Sabres in 5, but 6 is more realistic.

if the refs dont accidentally blow a pregame martini pimento in their whistle and call the games the same way into the playoffs then id say 5. you gotta figure they gotta goon their way to one more win than usual in the playoffs

I honestly don't think the flyers have a chance in this series. They just won't be able to compete with out speed. Yeah, we're gonna have guys getting layed out a couple of times, but the majority of the time I can see Mad Max heading up the wing past both defenders for the easy chance. I say sabres in 5, but i actually wouldn't even be surprised by a sweep.

I'd love to say 5 but I think it will be 6.

I say sabres in 7 but I honestly just dont have a good feeling about this one. I think inexperience could catch up with this team who realistically is a year away from making a serious cup run.
Once the first game starts on Saturday though I will have my sabs glasses on and will as a result be thinking cup.

The Flyers did a very good job the last game clogging the middle and not giving up breakout passes. Philly will be playing the body, and muscling the Sabres in the offensive zone. The Sabres need to use their speed even if it means dumping and chasing to loosen The Flyers up and tire them out. A month or two ago this wouldn't even be an interesting series, but Philly has come on and are playing better. I look for the Sabres in 6 but a seven game series is a possibility. If it goes 7, it will go to The Flyers. The Sabres will be too beat up.

I was also at the game where Jim Lorentz killed the bat.

Seriously.

All the players were really gay and no one whould pick up the bat but Brian Spencer.

Sabres in six.

Funny...out of all the players on the bat team, Spencer would have been my guess as the gay one.

What are you talking about, man?

Sure, spinner was into the drug scene, but he was a poor man's Eddie Shack. He hit everything. My Dad and I used to joke that Spencer didn't know how to turn on skates. He just skated up and down the wing and hit anything that was in his way.

Sabres won the fog game. Rene Robert scored in OT on a 2 on 1 with Perreault.
