If you ask me Huff would be just as important as any O lineman they could take at 8....

IMO, the only way we don't take Huff is if Dbrick falls to us.

People are talking a lot of draft crap that don't know wtf they are talking about.

When Levy was here before, it seemed like they drafted a DB in the first or second round every year.

You're right...henry jones...thomas smith..etc
However, the biggest hole it seems on this team is the qb and defensive tacke position. I doubt they'd take a qb and they need to fix their pourous run defense.

It's going to be if they can't kiss and make up with Clemens.

I just think that with Guard being our major Oline need we should grab a stud like Huff and plug the OL and DL in rounds 2 and 3. Justice is another M Williams type project and I don't want to risk it. We should have taken Roy Williams with that pick, and look what it got us...

I will only be happy with Huff or Ngata at 8. They are both Blue chip players at a position of need.

Thurm :hi5: EE

I said that all along.

You can't take any linemen with this high a pick because it screws the cap all up.

They will never take Ngata. No way.

I don't get why though. We can't have 2 Dt's weighing in at 285. I don't care if it is a cover 2 or not they will get blown off the ball.

Earthquake Enyart

They shoot gaps. They don't get knocked off.

I've seen a lot of Bear games. They got rid of Ted Washington and drafted Tommie Harris and Tank Johnson who are lighter and quicker. You need solid LB's to play this. Guys who can run.

Did Jauron play the cover 2 when they were 13-3? Their DTs then were Ted W. and Traylor. Both pushing 350. I am not saying they did play cover 2 then I am asking.

according to BB.com it sounds like he would fit into the scheme of things so you never know

Yeah, according to the BB.com video, ngata and bunkley are on their radar.

Ok then Bunkley would be a good fit in your opinion?

We should probably get rid of Posey then huh?

Kerr

Yeah, but ngata is said to be the best run stuffer out of the whole class.

but if he doesn't fit the system he doesn't fit Kerr. No sense in trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

No need for swears sir. As EE explained the cover 2 utilizes DT's that blow Gaps and are very quick. Bunkley appears to fit that bill better than Ngata. Not saying Ngata isnt a solid player.

I would be surprised if we didn't take a LB on the first day, and we would take Hawk if he fell to us.

Ngata is the pick. This "he dosent fit our defense" crap is overblown. a kid that big and strong and fast will fit in on any defense. the first thing any football team has to do if it wants to win is stop the run. if you cant stop the run your defense gets tired and demorilized, and you start giving up points. then your offense abandons the running game, and we all go home pissed off. Our #1 offseason priority should be stopping the run, we went from top of the league to 31st against the run last year and how have we fixed it? by cutting Sam Adams, our best run defender. If we dont grab Ngata in round one, its gonna be a long, long year for bills fans.

Levy is smart and he is a snake anything off BB.com I wouldnt trust bc Modrak appears to be all over Ngata nuts there, and they really downplay Michael Huff. I agree with you both that should Huff be there, he should be the pick!

Btw our starting SS is Matt Bowen not Coy Wire, who is an upgrade but not a good starter, imo.

Jan Reimers

I'd love Huff if he were available at 8. Wire's coverage skills are nonexistent, and I'm not convinced that Bowen is a full time starter anymore. We definitely need help at Safety.

I don't think they did
BB.com has Bowen as the starter as does NFL.com
