Posey to DE?

With Crowell, Spikes and Fletcher ... what are the chances of Posey moving to DE?? He was basically a DE with the Texans ... he'd have the speed to fit the system! Thoughts? :idunno:

Posey is big for a LB but small for a DE, classic Tweener. He would be swallowed up by the large Right OT's in league.

I always wondered why they didn't use him in that role at least on occasion- line him up at DE then have him drop back for a 3-4 look or stay in the 4-3 to keep the DE on their toes.

Of course, Donahoe was obsessed with "motor" DE's which definitely doesn't fit Posey's description. Maybe Marv will find a way to utilize him more effectively.

I would never be surprised with the bills in the draft, but I would be severely disappointed, seeing as how LB is one of our few strong points.
