Jimmy Clausen has commited to Notre Dame. This will start a domino effect where ND should get quite a bit of high profile high school prospects.

I have been to three games; all at South Bend. Seen them beat Navy and Rutgers and lose to Pitt.

I've never been but they're playing Navy in Baltimore this year.

I'm gonna go if I don't go to the Bills game in Chi-town that weekend.

It is an incredible scene. Huge parties in the quad. The frats and sororities serve up hot dogs, hamburgers and sausage. One of the houses does BBQ steak sandwichs. The prices are cheap. There is no alcohol on campus (drinking age reasons) but none is needed. The band performs an outdoor concert pregame. They then march to the stadium (the fans line the way for them). Everybody then proceeds to the game. It is as good as any Bills tailgate I have been to. The bookstore in Eck Hall is mobbed with folks buying merchandise. Then there is the game - no jumbotron, no screaching music, no advertising. Just football. Afterwards there is mass and other activities on campus.

I saw scalpers for as cheap as $75 (regular ticket is $53). The hardest part is hotels. Very expensive and must stay 2 nights.
