i bet umberger did

according to south park, everybody craps themselves right after they die. umberger probably crapped himself twice.

Thank you for that. Not seeing the game (listened to it online) I just heard Rick J scream Holy Mackeral. I knew it had to be something good. Plus I got to see the goals and all the replays.

How come it has to be TSN , CBC :homer:'s & OLN:down: feed always the game is in Buffalo it should be the Buffalo feed with RJ and Jim Lorentz. Not these terrible announcers. RJ is the best announcer ever.

While I love Jennerett I loved the guy calling the game last night. He does a great job. He does the Capital games in the regular season...
That was definitely a killer hit...he was messed up...

you can also download it here (http://www.hockeyfights.com/videos/)

man that has got to be one of the alltime hardest checks ive ever seen. its amazing the guy wasnt unconscious

The Hockeyfights replay is waaaayyyy better. OLN's replays are all after the fact- and in slo mo.

Maybe OLN was embarassed by having both of their announcers go "OOOOOOOHHHH" at the top of their lungs at impact.

Yet another OLN screw up.

Only MSG is where you find RJ & JL, otherwise they're on the radio.

You have to add your own punctation to get his meaning. he is saying he likes the guy that does the Capital games.

ESPN called Rick a living legend. They made the hit #6 and Briere's goal #1 on thier top 10.

Was OLN the only network carrying thre game?

No local Sabres or Philly coverage? I would love to see MSG's footage and Rick Jenerett's call.

almost 24 hours later and I'm still laughing everytime I see this hit. The look on his face after he got layed out is priceless.

i felt really bad for him and wished i could help but i still cheered

what a great hit and a great signal to set

interestingly im predicting philly to leave it all on the ice and win tomorrow. but it will be an overachievement and the sabres will still win in 6

if the refs keep playing bettmannball then the flyers simply cannot skate with the sabres. that usually catches up with you

I had an argument with a guy watching this game. Me and another guy were talking about how the refs seemed to be letting the game get out of hand and how they would call ticky tack calls but let some bad crap go. (like Lydman high sticking Knuble early and Grier getting a stick across the head late). Another guy starts up and says "You gotta let them play, "old time hockey", what do you want, the guys to figure skate? blah blah..." I said that hockey was popular this year because they called all the calls, scoring was up, the players COULD play now. If they went back to "old time hockey" then Philly would have a better chance to win with all the clutching and the grabbing and you would have more "Bertuzzi like" plays. I like the hitting and fighting as much as the next guy, but it has to be within the rules.

JENERETT: ... its taken away and Breire starts out, up to Hecht to Dumont, Dumont leaves it for Briere, Briere SWINGS it in front of the net and ... OOOOOOOOH it dribbled wide of the goal post!

and now the flyers will pick it up and bring it back and ...

oooh-WHOOAAA!!! LOOKOUT ... CAMPBELL! HOLY MACKEREL! Campbell stepped into his check at the blue line now they’re all chasing after Campbell! Brian Campbell ... leveled his check at the blue line ...

THE OTHER GUY WHATSHISNAME: well that was Umberger and he had his head down bigtime and Brian Campbell run over him like a Greyhound bus. That got everybody chasing after Brian Cambell. Umberger is back at the Philadephia blueline being assisted by the trainers.

flyer fans are crying about the good old days where guys were punching each others teeth out every other shift. well things change, it aint that way any more

i love this new product and have wanted it for, like, ever. so its doubly awesome this happens to be the year the sabres benefit so greatly from it
