Jay McKee remembers coming into the playoffs early in his career, eager to make a name for himself. He figured the best way to do it was take a run at someone and bury him, make the player look up at the back of McKee's sweater and make a mental note on what Buffalo Sabre to avoid from now on.
There was no bigger name on the Philadelphia Flyers than Eric Lindros back then, and when McKee laid him out, the defenseman thought the noise in HSBC Arena was going to cause the roof to collapse.
