After listening to Modrak and Levy talk about the offensive linemen, I would not be surprised to see them take Colledge and move him to OG rather than go with one of the OGs in the second round.

I have been very high on Daryn Colledge for a long time now and watching him play in the Senior Bowl only confirmed my feelings about him. At Boise State, he was dominant against a somewhat lower level of competition, but, at the Senior Bowl, he really showed that he could more than hold his own against the best players from the big schools. What I liked most about him was that he was not content to just block one guy, but, when he disposed of that guy, he kept moving--locating and making effective blocks on the second and even the third level. While I had some questions about whether he currently has the quickness and technique to play OLT in the pros (Modrak said that he does), I think he would be absolutely dominant playing inside where his best attributes would come to the fore and his weakest attributes would not really be an issue.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.
