Buffalo has had some pretty bad drafts trying to get back to the glory days of Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Andre Reed but in my opinion this is by far the worse draft the Bills ever had attempting to get back to there elite status check it out!!

2000 <TABLE width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD width="10%" bgColor=#bbbdc6>Pick</TD><TD width="40%" bgColor=#bbbdc6>Name</TD><TD width="10%" bgColor=#bbbdc6>Pos.</TD><TD width="40%" bgColor=#bbbdc6>School</TD></TR><TR><TD>1.</TD><TD>Erik Flowers</TD><TD>DE</TD><TD>Arizona State (26)</TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>2.</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Travares Tillman</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>FS</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Georgia Tech (58)</TD></TR><TR><TD>3.</TD><TD>Corey Moore</TD><TD>LB</TD><TD>Virginia Tech (89)</TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>4.</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Avion Black</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>WR</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Tennessee State (121)</TD></TR><TR><TD>5.</TD><TD>Sammy Morris</TD><TD>RB</TD><TD>Texas Tech (156)</TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>6.</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Leif Larsen</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>DT</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Texas El-Paso (194)</TD></TR><TR><TD>7a.</TD><TD>Drew Haddad</TD><TD>WR</TD><TD>Buffalo (233)</TD></TR><TR><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>7b.^</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>DaShon Polk</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>LB</TD><TD bgColor=#e1e1e1>Arizona (251)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Now that was a Helpful Draft Any thoughts or someone have a worse year i doubt it!!

That might be the WORST draft in Bills' history.

even before i opened up your thread, that's the one that came to my mind immediately. sammy morris might as well have been our first round pick that year.

I will never forget Chris Berman's reaction when we drafted Eric Flowers he was like who is this guy we dont have any highlights on him they had to archives of senior bowl practice to get anything on him right away

2002 should also be considered.

#1 - we paid an inordinate amt of money to MW and he never delivered.

#2 - we had four 1st day picks and ended up with no valuable starters - yes, Mike williams started but was a collosal failure for the price we paid and are still paying!

#3 - we did get some decent backups in Denney and Bannan but...

#4 - Reed is not a decent backup and has regressed from his 1st year.

#5 - Coy Wire is a liability in coverage.

#6 - Kevin Thomas was a good prospect but couldn't stay healthy.

#7 - Pucillo was arguably one of the worst Olinemen we've ever had.

#8 - We had 10 total picks that year and we blew it completely!!!

2000 might still be worst, but this draft definitely ranks close to it!!!

Yeah, 2002 didn't do Donahoe proud, either. The few guys still with us are pretty much career backups.

that one would be right up there but at least it produced some backups, 2000 there is one Sammy Morris with Miami but god that is also a horrible draft

2000 was almost as bad as the 1975 Tom Ruud Bob Nelson fiasco.

Almost.
