Attorneys for Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones filed $16 million in claims against the estate of Little Rock financier Mace David Howell Jr. on Friday.
Jones' claim includes an $11 million promissory note that he bought from Howell in August, promising 18 percent interest with a letter of credit from Bank of America guaranteeing payment if Howell defaulted.
The other claim is for a $5 million dollar promissory note that Jones bought from Howell in April.
