According to Ernie Acorsi, GM of the Giants. He said he don't know if the Saints are throwing it out there just to get things going or what but said thats what he was told.

Hey DB, Lets say they pass on Mario and go Brick. We trade up with Tenn, and keep our 2nd pick to take Williams.

Then in the 2nd we take, a DT! Ah...one can dream...

Those GMs for the Giants....they know everything. I'm surprised they haven't already announced Mr. Irrelevant.

Which DT? Also, which interior OL would we be passing on, as most of the top choices should still be there w/ our 2nd round pick. The only ones I think for sure will be gone will be Nick Mangold and Davin Joseph.

He was on Mike and the Maddog WFAN in New York.

We have had spencer in for a visit and he should be there in the 3rd. As for as DT, all beyond the top two have question marks but could end up being damn good. Wroten has serious marks now with a rumored failure of the drug test at the combine. McCargo or wright Will be there.

McCargo would be idea in that scenario. I would hope we'd steer clear of Wroten, and I'm no fan of Wright either.

If Spencer is there in the 3rd (his stock is rising, so I'm not sure if he'll be there), then it's a no brainer.

Huff in the first
McCargo in the second
Spencer and Jonathan Scott in the third

I could live w/ that.

In this dream, what are you trading to move up anyways?

Brick might not go second (I think he will but who knows).. But I can tell you for SURE he's going in the top seven.

if the texans were smart they'd take ferguson, but apparently they want to either take williams or take bush and have 2 RB's..

the texans are the bills of the last few years. they're oline is terrible, but because of their draft positioning they are almost forced to the "best player on the board" nonsense.

If David Carr had a choice, I'm sure he would want D'brick and not Bush. Hasn't he been the most sacked qb the last few years?

I saw brick on quite frankly. Seems like a nice guy, said all the right things. Seems like the kind of guy you want in your community. Makes you hope you had a shot of drafting him.
