A building and complex at Fort Campbell, Kentucky was dedicated in honor of former Army First Lieutenant and Bills G James Robert "Bob" Kalsu in a ceremony Aug. 9. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) replacement detachment was named in his honor. First Lieutenant Kalsu, an All-American lineman and team captain for the University of Oklahoma, was killed in action July 21, 1970 at Firebase Ripcord overlooking the A Shau Valley near the Demilitarized Zone in Vietnam.

    Just an update.
Bob Kalsu's video and audio is still available on NFL.com
Just click "more free videos" and click "Bills' Lt. Bob Kalsu"

It's simply an 5 minute amazing story. I didn't know that he is the only reported NFL player that death on Vietnam war.

That's a great and well deserved honor.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
