I was bringing in food when I heard Adam Schefter say something to the effect that houston has broken off talks with Bush and will now most likely go with Williams.

Now I didn't catch all of it but they are now scrabling to talk about how far Bush will draft, who might trade with New Orleans etc.

Schefter and Mayock (during his dumb mock draft) both again talked about how Buffalo is looking to trade out of the #8 spot.

Tomorrow could get interesting.

He won't drop far, if at all.

We could be looking at another draft-then-trade scenario.

I still heavily think Bush will be a Texan at 12pm tommorow..

But for the sake of discussion, lets say that Bush wasn't number one.. There is NO way he falls farther than 3.

I would think the Jets would trade up to get him if he wasnt first, and SF with TWO first would be a MAJOR player to move up to #2 and grab him.

For my own personal reasons, I'd LOVE it if Bush wasnt #1 (I still say he will be).. But here's my reason.

SF would move up to get Bush, and it would increase my remote chances of the Bills landing Vernon Davis.

I heard it on Sirius 124 this afternoon too. The last I heard the Texans were waiting to hear back from Mario Williams, stating that a contract is on the table and they want him locked up before the draft tomorrow.

This would adjust the draft considerably. New Orleans would more than likely find a suitor to trade down with, if they didn't take Bush themselves.

Texans | Team telling Williams' people he will be No. 1

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/14">Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/189), reports the Houston Texans (http://www.kffl.com/team/18/nfl) are in intense negotiations with the agent for North Carolina State DE Mario Williams (http://www.kffl.com/player/13443/nfl) to become the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft (http://www.kffl.com/link/159). The Texans (http://www.kffl.com/team/18/nfl) have even gone as far as telling Williams' people that he is their No. 1 choice. Texans (http://www.kffl.com/team/18/nfl) general manager Charlie Casserly denied to FOXSports.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/189) that Williams was their direction, but the source insisted that such talks are very much going on and the two sides are huddled are intense talks. Agent Ben Dogra did not want to enter intense talks unless he was confident that Houston was genuinely interested in his client for fear that they would use such a negotiation in dealings with the USC RB Reggie Bush (http://www.kffl.com/player/13289/nfl)'s camp.
