WOW. Reggie Bush won't be the #1 pick. I hope I don't jinx anything, but the Jets have the power to move up to get Bush. Crap.

If this is true, NO's #2 pick just became incredibly valuable. If they don't want Bush, they can absolutely rape some other team that wants him.

I doubt the Saints trade the pick. From what everyone is saying the Saints love Bush. Supposely he was far and away the best player on their board.

Didnt the Saints sign Bennett and they have Duece.

They are sooo trading with someone.. My guess is the Jets, who have two first rounders to offer to move up two spots.

 What was that? There were some draft experts here who claimed there was a 0 chance of the texans drafting M. Williams.

You think they can get a team to trade entire draft for him?

Yeah I think it was Clayton on ESPN radio before said it was 30% that the Texans draft Williams.

If the Redskins had a high pick they could get revenge.

I just saw it on ESPN as well (between periods Op!) and I now without a doubt think Houston is full of imbeciles. I don't know if NO will take Bush or not with 2 decent backs, but the way everybody is talking, Bush will see as much time as a slot reciever as in the backfield, which they could definitely use. I'd have a hard time passing him up if I were NO.

I just want to see what Moulds has to say about this remember "He said something like that he only signed with the Texans because they were going to draft Bush" or something like that.

Bad for the Texans - passing up on a back capable of changing their franchise around.

Bad for Bush - playing for the Saints is a jail sentence.

Bad for the Bills - if the Jets get him we're going to have to face him twice a year for many years to come.

I just hope this makes it more possible for us to get Brick. Not sure how, but it would be great.

As stated in another thread....franchise running back vs franchise de....franchise de's don't come out around very often, every draft there seems to be some "franchise" running back.

Now if Reggie Bush turns into the next Barry Sanders, Houston looks dumb, but they already have Domanick Davis who is no slouch by any means in the backfield. And Bush is more in the mold of a Metcalf, Westbrook, Dunn than a true "franchise" back. Not that any of those backs weren't/aren't good mind you.

Or if Mario turns into Courtney Brown the Texans look stupid as well.

But everything in this maneuver is hindsight, I still feel the Texans biggest need out of the top guys on this board was D'Brickashaw. However drafting Mario Williams makes more "football-team wise" sense than Bush.

I dont think Williams is a bad pick for Texans, never said that either.

I'm just saying that its really BALLSY of Casserly to pass up Bush.. I bet his approval rating in Houston is about as high as George Bush right now with the fans.

Bush won't make it past the #2 pick IMO

NO will trade out if they don't take him.

I see Bush falling all the way to 7, maybe even further. Many teams are going to be afraid of the baggage he's developed in the last week and rumour has it that alot more is still to come. I see the Raiders perhaps looking the other way concerning Bushes character issues in the hope thats all there is. If they take someone else, he could fall all the way to the second round.

I doubt the Saints trade the pick. From what everyone is saying the Saints love Bush. Supposely he was far and away the best player on their board.

The problem is they're stuck with a big money contract they recently signed with Deuce McAllister. They likely cant trade him because of what the signing bonus would do to their cap. That's a lot of money they'le have tied up in one position. On the other hand, there is only one team (the Jets) with both the ammunition and the motivation to move up for right to draft Bush. From where I sit, the Saints are feeling a whole lot of pressure right now to make the right move, with not nearly the leverage they'd like to have in making a trade.

I agree sorta of.
I think the Saints had more trade leverage with Mario than they do with Bush..
