I was listening to MArio Williams on Sirius Satellite yesterday and they asked him about McCargo. He said that if he hadn't gotten hurt last year he may have drafted higher than himself. With that said I realize that McCargo is his boy and all, but he sounded truthful so what do you guys know about him and will he be there in the second or third and is he worth the pick?

I think the Bills are looking for a bigger DT. McCargo looks a lot like Tripplet.

Not saying the Bills will take him (that character issue thing again)

But I think Claude Wroten should be the pick.. I think physically he's a better player than both Bunkley AND Ngata, who will be top 12 picks.

I'd MUCH rather grab the BPA at 8 (whomever) and take Wroten in round two, or possibly even move up a few spots to get him in the late first (seattle is a possibility)

McCargo is not a pass rusher by any means, you can figure out the rest. That's all you need to know.

What is he gonna say?

"He's not very good and has injury issues. I wouldn't even draft him if I was a GM"

I think he's a good system tackle for this team.

I know its not a popular decision, but outside of Wroten i liked him better than anyone else left, including Watson.

Just a weird, weird day man.

He has enough quickness to be a nice fit in Buffalo's defense, lining up next to Larry Triplett, but he will need to add some strength in order for him to meet the expected production of a first-rounder.

Pat Kirwan: On my board, he was an early second-round pick. He’s the third guy out of N.C. State in 26 picks. He was in a great group, and so it’s hard to figure out how well he’ll play without the others.

Gil Brandt:He's not real tall, but he's strong and athletic, and very active. This might have been a little bit of a reach, but there might not have been anyone left to fill the spot they need.</td></tr></tbody></table>

I hear what you are saying I don't know if this is just one of the worst jobs ever or just a weird weird draft because nobody expected it at all. I am sure that Whitner is going to be a real good player, and I think McCargo could be decent, but it's just the talent that was left on the board that we passed that makes this so hard to swallow.

Just keep trading up and get a LT and be done with it already!

Hes 6'1.5 302 pounds.

Bunkley is 6'3 and 306 pounds.

They are very close in size, so the argument about size is moot. Hes fast, athletic, and a solid fit for us. A bit early, and needs a little work but I think its a decent pick.
