I didn't want a QB but I would've taken one instead of this guy. I can't even begin to tell you how pissed I am.

We're gonna be paying the 2nd rated safety in the draft Top 8 money when we could've drafted him 5+ picks later.

If nobody wanted to trade with us for their guy then Marv didn't do a good job with his smokescreens and negotiating. He already proved with Moulds that he would get bent over.

The only thing we can hope for is Whitner will turn out to be like Dwight Freeney when he was drafted. Nobody could believe he went that high and turned out to be elite. I doubt it though.

Even if Donte Whitner is your guy, you should wheel & deal a little. You don't take him at #8.

St. Louis & Denver were both interested in trading up.

If Whitner is the guy OBD was targeting, why not use that leverage to get an extra pick or two & then draft Whitner later?

It's such a farce on so many levels I don't know where to begin.
