If the picks are all as bad as you say they are, then we should be in line to get Brady Quinn in the '07 draft. We'll be set at QB for 10-15 years then!

Hopefully there are some good FA available next year. We will have plenty of cap to play with.

that's the optimism I like to hear however I would argue that JP is ready this year to step it up, but if he doesnt then HELLO TO A MAN NAMED BRADY!!!!!!

It won't matter if JP is ready. We did nothing to upgrade the OL and took the 6th DL selected in the draft over the best Center who could've upgraded our line.

Oh well, 3 years from now we can look back at the draft once again and think about what may have been.

I think we did upgrade our line in free agency maybe not as much as you might want but its better I think. I can't argue with people complaining about the McCargo pick at all, but I feel better about our line.

the guy we picked is a huge reach at 8. He's probably a good player, but not at #8. Now we'll be overpaying him.

We could have traded down and got the same guy plus an extra later pick. That's the problem.
