I really think we got 2 people that we need regardless of the talent level available. We don't need people that cannot fit into our system, both these guys really do & have the character Marv is looking for, so nice job Marv.

ESPN is feeling a little differently but they don't like the Bills anyways:

Well those comments say it all, but they definitely took positions we needed, and I think we can stick with Gandy for another year if we have to so what position is next if there are not quality LT's left?

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>I am so sick of hearing about the character Levy wants. He could of drafted bunkley at 8 or trade down to get Whitner. Instead of drafting McCargo in first and losing draft picks, most likely could of had him in the 2nd. Now we lose a draft pick that we DO NEED. I never doubted his character as a coach but sure as h--- doubt his character as a GM.

Finally a breath of fresh air.

Point blank, we have lost two valuable draft picks today. We could've traded down a little bit and still got Whitner. If he did happen to be gone then we take the best DT available or the best OG in Davin Joseph and we get an extra 2nd round pick in the process.

With the two 2nd round picks you fill the other needs. Or if you did trade up, getting the best Center in the draft is more valuable then the 6th DL selected that you probably would've gotten in the 2nd, and there wasn't another DT selected for 20+ spots afterwards.

We didn't get good value at all. We took players too soon and missed out on extra draft picks that were sitting right in our laps.

Not saying that these two players are gonna completely suck. Where we took them and went about getting them sucks. We could've still had them later, or if not, we could've had comparable or better value at them positons while picking up extra draft picks.

A couple years from now we're gonna look back at this and the rest of you will realize exactly how we screwed this up. We had a chance to fill almost every major hole on the first day with good value and we screwed the pooch.
