Re: I still trust Marv!
If Kiper knows so god damn much then why isn't he scouting for some NFL team, any NFL team? Already on ESPN they are declaring that the two picks we have chosen are among the biggest reaches they have seen. EVER. That said, if both of these guys end up as solid contributors, no one is going to go and call out Mel Kiper and ESPN. As if they are NEVER wrong.
I mean we have people here in this forum procliaming that the Bills should have drafted Leinhart, which to me is one of the dumbest things I have heard today, but yet those same people are going to label Levy and Co. as the worst coach/gm tandem ever, already declaring how they have ruined the Bill's organization, when these players have yet to take a snap in the NFL. To me that just doesn't make any sense.
I will trust the opinion of a HALL OF FAME NFL HEAD COACH before I trust the opinion of any of those morons. The truth of the matter is we will just have to wait and see.

Re: I still trust Marv!
Marv was a Hall of Fame Coach because Bill Polian saved his job off the scrap heap and put a team on the field that Marv couldn't miss with yet Marv never won the Big Game and was always out coached. I was at the Bills stadium today and have never heard such booing as I did today . The Bills are being judged by the so called Espn experts as reaching on all their picks and are getting a Big F and i think the Bills will be lucky to win 3 games this year. i have been a season ticket holder for 36 years and have not felt this bad about the Franchise . This will be a long year and Marv is way over his head. He is a nice old man but knows nothing about being a GM. And yes the NFL is laughing at The Bills we are the new Bengals.

Re: I still trust Marv!
The deal is this:
THEY DON'T KNOW !
nobody does, it's all high stakes poker, and no one has a clue what any of the cards are worth.
at least marv said: "wait a minute.. you mean the guys with the best attitude, end up playing the best ?"
and that's who we took.
oh, and BTW, there were other teams that were after whitner and mccargo, you just didnt hear about it because no one asks the scouts until the last minute.
Time will tell, my friends.Fox ;-D

Sure, they are not gonna be right all the time and will make mistakes. When the entire studio is laughing it isn't a good thing.

Ngata was the choice at 8 so we picked a safety, a darned safety.....Then he pisses away a 3rd to grab a 2nd rounder in McCargo, who probably would have been available in the 2nd, with Chicago's 1st.
We have so many holes (OL - DL) and again they're being filled with discraded leftovers and scraps.
Gentleman (and Ladies), do not forget that it was under Marvelous Marv that our O-Line demise began and let us also not forget his ultimate gem, Jerry Crafts. Seems he hasn't changed his ways, not one stinking bit.
As a side note, it was just announced in Columbus Ohio, that all future scholarships for DB's at OSU will require prior approval by the Buffalo Bills.Spiderweb
