I like Youboty and you had to take him because he was the best player on the board. However, not much help for this year...maybe next year after Nate is gone. Not much that Buffalo could have done with the pick...no good OL on the board...definitely no LT.

We're not going anywhere this year anyway.

I like this pick too, but a little part of me was hoping for Max Jean Gilles what do you think about him maybe slipping to us in 4th?

If you went according to a lot of mocks and projections the Bills' draft would look like this value-wise:

Trade down from # 8 to # 14-15 for Whitner--(say pick up a # 3)
Trade up from the second round to early-to-mid 20s of the first round for Youboty (cost a number two and a number three pick)
Use third round pick for McCargo.

Probably a loss of some value with Whitner and giving up a third round pick, but made up for by gaining a bit with Youboty and McCargo over what the Bills 2nd and 3rd round picks would have yielded. Perhaps a slight net loss in value points with those three picks and still no offensive linemen taken.

Nate will have one more year here. But this is a good pick (finally)

Beautiful pick!

I think so....I have seen all of our pick projected as first rounders..on different mocks.

Now that I have time to breath I like it....

Would have liked MAx Jean Jiles but I am also a printer.

I was hoping for Gilles too. I think he would definately beat out Villareal for the RG position or take over LG.

does anyone think Gilles will fall to us in fourth? If he does I am starting to warm up to this draft.

Jean-Gilles has a weight problem which is why I had joseph over him since day 1. He is worth a 4th round pick though....take a chance on being able to keep him in the weight room.

He does have a weight problem, but man watching some tape of him he is an absolute road paver when he gets his hands on a guy.

Yeah, and if he plays with a chip on his shoulder (helping him keep his weight down) he could really be something - just as long as it's not a potato chip on his shoulder...
