I, for one, wanted the lines addressed and we did that with McCargo. I also knew that Buffalo would need a good safety and they got that in Whitner. However, when the Bills were on the clock next in the 3rd round, Youboty was the best player available, so they've got to take him. In round 4, Simpson was too good of a talent to pass up, I have no problem with that. I would much rather take the best athlete than reach for a position that we need help in when the talent there isn't great. Good move by the Bills, so far.
My take...for what it's worth.

I'm very happy the lines are finally being addressed. I could care less about "ESPN popular" picks.Originally posted by notaconThe biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

I think people like ESPN put a lot of time into pre-packaged highlights, notes, and whatever.
When a team messes up their preparation - they translate that into "They don't know what they are doing"
Agree or disagree on the personell and they player types - But I think the Bills had a plan, and executed it today. Don't like the plan? Fair enough. But many of these pundits are fueling their own rhetoric and fooling themselves on who should go where

But I like the secondary picks as well.
I dont think Nate Clements deserves $6-7 million per year, let him play this year out and then put his money towards a Left Tackle next year.
