Marv seems to be pounding away on defense, if nothing else. I wouldn't have a problem with his philosophy, per se, but some of his picks are head scratchers.

Marv seems to be pounding away on defense, if nothing else. I wouldn't have a problem with his philosophy, per se, but some of his picks are head scratchers.

The Bills appear to be following a strategy of trying to revamp their defense fast so they will be 'respectable' and keep ticket sales high. Since the Bills have so much of their home schedule weighted towards 2nd half of season, I think they hoping their defense is really clicking by 2nd half of season.

I dont think this draft is overly surprising.. well, I take that back.. Its EASY to say that now.. But when you look at what they're doing then it falls into place.

THey addressed the OL in 2 of the 3 interior spots by adding Reyes and Fowler.

They are COMMITTED to running a cover two defense and all these players they took this weekend appear to fit that type of scheme.
