No Problem ;)

I like Hackney, reminds me of Culpepper. Has great size, some mobility, and a huge arm.

I know the Virginia guys pretty well.

Kai Parham was projected as third rounder but had a lousy combine.
He's a tad slow for NFL likes.

Connor Hughs is a flat out bullseye kicker.

Does not miss the ones he should make, and isn't too bad on long ones either.

How about TE Tim Day - Oregon? Kiper had him as one of his top 3 best available players.

I really want Spencer Havner. He would be a steal as a UDFA.

Connor Hughes is deadly and Parham would be cool. They could carpool for all I care. Wish there was more at DE

Didnt like him in school and why would need to waste time trying to get a 700th TE in here, we need to concentrate on key guys.

If we picked up Parham he'd have to be used somewhat in a funnel system where he is used solely to clog holes not to chase down players around the edge. Thankfull he can excel at that here with the speed we have at OLB and the fact that our DB's can all hit and tackle pretty well in the openfield.

He's surprisingly more of an athletic QB than one would expect at his size, but on a reverse he could be a deadly blocker.

Euhus, Everett, Royal, and Nuefeld...

I also dont find it fair to say Everett cant stay healthy bc of one injury. Euhus also isnt a main guy at TE.

Is it not the same injury and he is just not done rehabbing it yet? I was uninformed that he had participated in the mini camp and sustained any serious long term injury.

I can't believe no one drafted Eric Henderson. He has a ridiculous amount of talent but has had trouble staying healthy. Why not take the risk in the 6th or 7th?

ZacGriffi~82

The Vikings have been very busy

They signed 16 rookies to free agent contracts, including the Gopher McKenzie and four receivers -- Texas A&M's Jason Carter, Youngstown State's Kyle Smith, Southwest Texas State's Barrick Nealy and New Mexico's Hank Baskett.

Their other signings: Jackson State offensive tackle Albert Stinson, Clemson fullback Steven Jackson, Texas Tech running back Taureen Henderson, Colorado punter John Torp, Wisconsin offensive lineman Jason Palermo, Kansas cornerback Charles Gordon, Utah State offensive tackle Donald Penn, Massachusetts cornerback Robert Cobb, Fresno State running back Wendell Mathis, Mississippi defensive end Jayme Mitchell and Washington defensive tackle Manase Hopoi.

At DE, there is also Mike Kudla out of Ohio St. I think he'd be a good pick-up. Mike Bell would be a decent RB addition. Patt Ross at C from Boston College would be a good pick-up too, as would Lentz's teammate Adam Stenavich

Two things...

1) Chijioke Onyenegecha, would be a solid nickle corner for us and damn good depth.

2) Everett. It isn't uncommon to have strains and pulls in muscles after rehabing an ACL. Sometimes the rehab creates weaknesses and imbalances in other muscle groups. I agree he is a concern, but it isn't uncommon to have pulls etc

Very nice pick ups by the Vikings. Getting Henderson and Gordon. I'm surprised Gordon didn't get drafted. He always held his own, even against the tougher competition in the Big 12. Henderson might surprise and get some heavy action with their unstable RB situation.

I personally don't like Onyenegecha. He was never very consistent and made too many stupid players. He might be worth bringing in to see if he could get better with some NFL coaching, but I don't think he will.
