I don't want to hear about the lack of experience to keep an over the hill Vincent another year. Simpsons speed and tackling will makeup for his inexperience. The rebuilding has started so get the young kids in there.

how can you say that coy as to go with vincent???? I think that you have to keep a guy like coy because he is very tasker-like in that he is a great special teams player.... not trying to compare him to steve tasker by any means but they have a simular special teams presants.... coy and josh stammer are 2 of the best special teams players we've had since tasker left the team.

Vincent isn't going anywhere, at least for another year. The knowledge and attitude that he will pass on to the young bucks is well worth it.

Plus, I think TV can fill in as a Cover-2 CB too. He's physical and he's smart ... no reason he couldnt play CB in a pinch.

I think you are right. I would be shocked if they let Vincent go this year.

But, I do think Coy is gone. Bowen is also a very good ST player and a much better pass defender.

IMHO, two of these three don't make the squad: Wire, Leonard and Baker. Wire is the worst fit in the Cover 2. And, as much as I really like Leonard, I think Baker's speed and experience make him more likely to grab a roster spot.

Maybe I was watching a different fs last year that was a step slow and missing tackles.
The Bills are not going to the play=offs in the coming year, Simpson should learn on the job. You don't learn by sitting and watching an over the hill vet. Playing him is his best experience.
Bobboy April plays a lot of starters on special teams, and I expect whitner to be on them also with Simpson and Youboty. Get back to me in Sept.

You keep players like Vincent around for veteran leadership and training/grooming purposes. There's a reason he's been a good player in this league for a decade, allow him to pass some of his knowledge to the new guys.
