    More perspective...

    08 BUF *Donte Whitner, S, Ohio St. 5'10 203
What were the Buffalo Bills thinking here taking Whitner this high in the draft? Once again taking a safety this high, no matter how impressed a team may be in his play, does not warrant the selection here. Though I like Whitner's talents and skills he brings to the field, how the Bills can justify taking him this high is a puzzle to me?

26 BUF John McCargo, DT, NC St. 6'2 300
The Bills have snagged a playmaker at the DL spot where there are not many to find. McCargo may be the unknown D-Lineman of the three 1st rounders off the NC State 2005 team, but he does not have to take a back seat to either of his former teammates he played with. McCargo posses good size and agility on the inside of the interior D-Line area, and provides a disruptive run stuffer to opposing offenses running games. Who often times will pursue the ball from sideline to sideline. Here was an excellent value pick for the Bills this late in the draft.

Funny, some people like the Whitner pick and question McCargo and some like it the other way around.
