All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft:
An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft:
An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft: "I think they had their best draft in years. Did they take Whitner a little high? Yes, but he's going to be really good. They took productive players with high character. The defensive tackle, Kyle Williams, is like a Chris Hovan. The strong part of the draft in the last few rounds was offensive line. We liked Brad Butler. Terrance Pennington is a huge talent with 36-inch arms and he can play left tackle. Aaron Merz is a smart guy who's really strong."
Re: An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft:
But he's only an NFL personnel director who makes his living evaluating players. . . he's certainly not Mel Kiper, Jr., whose father was most assuredly Mel Kiper, Sr.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Re: An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft:
Yeah - what I liked in particular about this write up, was the guy's underlying opinion about the past couple of Bills' drafts. Who knows how this draft will turn out....but to have the guy go on record by saying we did better this time according to his board...well, that's makes me think we aren't as out of step with the rest of the world. Maybe McGahee and Parish will be all-pros.....but, I would rather the Bills had been more conservative.
Re: An NFC personnel director's take on the Bills draft:
NOBODY gets it right all of the time, and he likely is going to make some mistakes on his watch as GM, but for anyone to EVER make comments suggesting that Levy does not know what he is doing, and that he is WAY in over his head, is simply pure stupidity.

He could say the same thing about you.
We had alot of picks and got no names, that doesn't mean they will not turn into anything but if you predicted this draft ahead of time you would of won the lottery that night as well.

Please give your list of "names." In the third round, he got a guy who was projected as top 2nd. In the fourth round, he got a guy that was projected as a late 1st. In the fifth round, he got a guy who was projected as a 2nd-3rd round. I had heard plenty about Youboty, Simpson, and Williams before the Bills selected them. Not too mention Butler, whom we all remember from the incident with Kiwanuka. Besides, going only for the "names" of the draft can seriously bite a team in the ass as well.
