As Anthony Thomas came off the field last weekend following the final practice of the Bills rookie orientation camp, he couldn't help but smile. For the first time in a few years he feels he's found a team where he can contribute instead of being an afterthought.
Unfortunately that was the case when Thomas signed with Dallas last offseason. Unable to get on the field in the Cowboys crowded backfield, Thomas was released Nov. 1 last season. He was promptly picked up by the New Orleans Saints, but had just seven carries there while appearing in just four games.
