I love watching this team. Their offense is so multi dimensional even without out Stoudemire. Nash obviously controls the pace but with guys like Barbosa they can open up a fast break at any point, and never mind what they can do behind the arc. Those late 4th quarter shots last night were a thing of beauty.
Needless to say I ordered my Marion jersey on Saturday Night.

All kidding aside the Suns are a fun team to watch.
A Suns-Nets finals has the chance to be a scoring bonanza. Sadly neither will make it to that round.

I will never forget how bad we treated Kidd during the Eastern Conference finals a few years ago.

That was a rough week for Jason. Of course eliminating the Celtics made it all better.
I'm rooting for the suns all the way.

Not only did Bell chokeslam Kobe the Rapist, but he hits the biggest shot of this series so far... He's earned lots of respect. I hope the Suns win just cuz of Raja.

They Owned LA last night. Nash was flat out nasty. Now we get to see the war between Marion and Dirk. This should be good!
So far they own the mavs in the playoffs. They're just one series away from facing either miami or detroit.

Bedard, are you a true Suns fan or have you adopted them for this year?
I've adopted them, myself. I'm on the Raja Bell Bandwagon!

That doesn't explain your being a Bills fan. Are you from Buffalo?
It seems you like the Red Sox and Celtics, plus you live in Boston.

Right around the time I was getting sick of Pats fans. The Bills picked up Doug Flutie who has Boston ties. So I started paying attention to what they were doing, thats also when I started in on message boards and found that Bills fans are amongst the most knowledgable in the country along with Steelers fans. Over time and with Bledsoe in town it just kind of stuck.
I just got tired of having one sided conversations with Pats fans. As a fan base they are the most ignorant I have ever encountered. Most of them just dont know the sport, they just know that Brady is God and Bruschi is the man.

Oh, so your just a turncoat.
I think you are generalizing somewhat, although I know what you are talking about. I grew up with the Pats and I swear there were about 30,000 fans in the whole area. I remember going to school as a kid and half the kids were fans of other teams and would rag on me about the Pats, despite the fact they grew up here. The team was a joke for the first 30 years, and this area was traditionally a Giants fan base. I remember games against the Giants where there would be more Giants fans there than Pats fans, which used to irk me. I had season tickets in the early 1990's, and you'd be lucky to get a 30K people to a game before Parcells arrived.
Most fans are yahoos, though. Sometimes fans of of the most ardent fan bases are the biggest yahoos. That is why you being a fan of the Red Sox is somewhat ironic. That team gets shoved down our throats day after day, ad naseum. It gets sickening. Red Sox fans are worse than pats fans, in general, IMO.

See I dont think Sox fans are that bad. It seems that when I talk to Sox fans most of them know whats up other than just the premier players on the team. They knowing pitching matchups and are usually in tune with opponents other than the Yanks. I did root for the Pats to win the 01 Superbowl all the loyal fans deserved that. But most of the NE fans now are just ignorant.

Sox fans are way worse. They are bi-polar for crying out loud. They think they are so smart, they are ignorant.
Baseball doesn't lend itself to day-to-day judgements, because the season is so long. You just can't draw conclusions game-to-game, because things average out in the long run. However, Red Sox fans have to over-analyze everything that happens to the point of hysteria. Bills fans are a little like that now, but not to the same extent.
Of course, I should say that I find baseball pretty much a bore, so I don't know that I'm the best judge. The game of baseball is so slow, I'm not sure how people can even stay awake.
Game 1 in the books!
What a great game that was. Go suns!

Good game! Nice to see them come back from a deficit.
I started watching the suns around 87-88. Growing up playing basketball Tom Chambers and Kevin Johnson were my biggest idols.

That will hurt real bad. I imagine Barbosa will be starting tommorow night regardless.
It's too bad about Bell, but even without bell they won't miss a beat just like they haven't missed a beat without one of their star players, amare stoudamire.

I've lived in Arizona for the majority of my life and I've lived in Gilbert for the past decade.
It's pretty awesome watching the suns do as well as they are doing.
They have a great team and above all that an exciting team, a young team, and a very likeable team. A team with friendly personalities and a team without egomaniacs. All these players buy into the 'team first' concept and it has really paid off.
I work at a gym here in Gilbert and during the fourth quarter of this first game my boss, a little worker girl, a personal trainer, and I, were all huddled around the t.v. watching the action. All night I had been proclaiming 'DIAW' every time he made a bucket, and for those who were watching, you know that was often.
We have monitors on every cardio machine and t.v's throught the weight room and the locker rooms, so every person in the gym was watching this game. The tension was thick throughout the gym when Harris made that shot to put the mavs up with 4.8 second left in the game. The four of us were statues while Boris Diaw got the inbound pass from Tim Thomas. When that ball hit the bottom of net the four of us celebrated wildly and everyone was shouting Diaw! I came out of the breakroom cheering and everybody in the gym was cheering and clapping as well. The reaction was great! It was awesome watching and hearing that place erupt like that. People were giving each other high fives and everyone was on a suns high the rest of the night. Talk about a pleasant working environment.
Suns nation is of course praying for the Heat to dispatch the Pistons so we could have a hot fiery inferno in this years finals. That is if Phoenix can handle their business and put away the mavs in this round. Suns and Heat would be a blast of a series to watch for the trophy. Hopefully that happens and brings Arizona another championship to sit next to our world series trophy.
Now if only the Cardinals weren't so lousy.
Series tied at 1. They really need to turn it up a notch at home.

I was really disappointed when the suns scored only 88 points in game 3. Nice bit of justice holding the Mavs to 86 in game four.

Dissapointing series loss, but next year they'll make another title run with STAT back in the mix. Count on it.

Nobody counted on this team making it this far.
Next year we will have a lot harder time blowing big leads with Amare back.
Our team will only improve. We will have a much deeper bench and have an excellent player at every position on the floor. The suns time will come.
