One thing people seem to forget goaltenders are part of the team. So when people say we are better or they are better they need to factor in goaltending as part of the whole equation. As a result, the Sabres are showing they are the better team...

wow!! these people are unreal.... chara gets "played like a violin" and they blame Emery for the goal..... sorry but Hasek, Cujo, Brodeaur, even Roy couldn't have stopped that goal from happening....

I saw that last night right after the game ended.

They weren't venting as much as they were making excuses.

"We outplayed them, we're such a better team" blah blah blah.

Somebody needs to tell them you don't win hockey games based on stats.

Who cares if they had 44 shots from the perimiter? All that matters is the score, and so far the Sabres have won both times. And for the record, as "good as the Sens have played", they haven't been able to beat a Sabres team that in retrospect played 2 below-average games... and STILL WON. I'd take a team that plays poorly and still finds a way to win over a team that dominates and can't figure out how to get a victory.

I love how they keep making excuses "they made 2 mistakes and lost the game", "Emery is to blame", "Where's Alfie?!"... the Sabres have made plenty of mistakes and haven't lost either game.
