i often watch games over again because you always see stuff you didnt notice the first time

im going to post the thoughts i have while watching the tape and we'll see if anything interesting pops up

When watching a game live it's easy to be impartial to a call...Watching it later with less emotion its easier to be impartial...I was upset on a few calls but they were legit especially the Nummenum call at the end of the third since it was not intential but a penalty is a penalty.

17:16 man miller has some lightning reflexes. mckee goes to clear the puck into the corner and whacks it right into shaeffer. the puck bounces right back at miller and he snags it in his glove

ive noticed when hes on his game he makes that stuff look easy but its not. i played goalie for a while as a kid and its tougher than it looks

omg and on the replay you can see that miller actually makes an intentional toe save on a deflected shot! the puck is going for the left corner and he sticks his toe out to stop it. spectacular save that didnt look like one

16:08 penalty alfi trips pomms. man perfect backhanded breakout pass miller to poms. pyatt fantastic move steps right around the defensemen perfect pass to poms who would have had a prime shot in the heart of the slot if alfi doesnt take him down
