Hasek is a good goaltender but to not play for three months and be asked to win 4 games in a row is very difficult. I think the Sens are desparate in an attempt to find a spark. If Haske starts I hope the Sabres pepper him with shots to test the groin and see if he how much in game shape he is in especially if it goes to overtime and see how much rust he has.

according to team1200, the ottawa sports radio station, Hasek has ruled himself OUT for this game! HE WILL NOT PLAY!!

ray emery should get the start in net again tonight, but I want to know why not throw the backup in and try to shake things up... it's not gonna hurt anything. if they lose with emery or the backup in net then it's over.

Irregardless of the fact Dom isn't healthy enough to play in net tonight, I think it is stupid to play him even if he was healthy. The message you send is "Emery, this 3-0 deficit is all your fault", when in fact, it is a combination of some poor goaltending, but a majority of crappy defense. This Ottawa defense we've seen in this series is not even a half of the quality they're capable of. Now before I come across as giving all the credit for the 3-0 series lead to Ottawa's mistakes (As TSN and other media outlets are), that's not my intent. I just can't say with an honest face that Redden, Phillips, and Chara are as bad as they've played so far. Mezsaros & Volchenkov are, but not those other 3.

I think the fact that he still has a groin injury is a testament to how he has exactly no balls to play against us.

I hope he comes into goal tonight. The Sabres are gonna jump all over him like flies on stink, and so will the fans. I'd love to see that.

if he were to come into the nets tonight, it will look just like it did when he came back to buffalo for the first time with detroit.... an a$$ kicking is in store for hasek!!

I also think it would pump up the Sabres and the crowd even more if he played. I would be surprised if he came played. he never likes to play with an injury.
