San Francisco 49ers cornerback Mike Rumph testified Tuesday that he passed all five sobriety tests given after his vehicle was stopped in Miami Beach last summer.
Rumph directly refuted testimony offered the previous day by a police officer.
On the second day of his trial on a charge of driving drunk last July 6, Rumph did admit to rolling through two stop signs. But Rumph, 23, has maintained his innocence on the DUI charge.
"I didn't stumble, fall or lose my balance" during the sobriety tests, Rumph said Tuesday.
