How will gas prices affect ticket sales?

Gas prices are high again and probably will not be going down, IF they go down, for a long away. How will high gas prices affect ticket sales?

Quite a number of people go to games from quite a distance (it is a 400 mile drive one way for me) and it affects cost whether you are drving or flying. It is not just the cost of fuel to go to a game but the cost of fuel over an entire year taking a good chunk of the fans financial budgets.

What do you think the impact will be on ticket sales? On season tickets?

I know that I have already had to cut back on how many games I'm going to this year, and it's only May

By the time Sept. rolls around it will probably be cheaper for people like us to fly up instead of driving.

Well if we would just nuke everyone, we wouldn't have this gas price problem.

It's a good thing that we can carpool during opening weekend.
