What I'd like to see happen in the next 6 days

1.) Connolly get healthy
2.) The light in Vanek's head get turned on
3.) Novotny get more practice
4.) Kotalek find his shot
5.) Miller work on his catching. He stopped the shots but a lot came out.
6.) Briere get some rest and heal.
7.) Campbell see #4
8.) Ruff explaining that whipping the puck around the boards in your own end doesn't help unless you get it to a team mate or get it out of your zone.
9.) Ruff either stop the dump and chase, or refine it for the PP
10.) Work on the PP passing. Carolina is going to press.

12) for buffalo fans to not boo the team everytime something doesn't go their way.

i'm all for booing on a bad play, but watching the games on tv it's a little embarassing to see the fans in the arena boo on every missed call like it was the end of the world... almost makes us look like philly fans.

That doesn't bother me, they're just showing support. What bother's me is the fact they were getting on the Sabres PP. Ottawa's PK unit was good.

When I was watching it seemed like they were booing missed calls on that PP, not the PP itself.... but, Briere is no idiot, he wouldn't have called out the fans like that if he thought otherwise.

Anybody that boos this team is an idiot. Even if this team is swept (which will never happen!) by Carolina we should all stand and applaud what this team has accomplished this year.

The Koharski Incident: Schoenfeld gained notoriety as New Jersey's coach during 1988 Wales Conference finals between Devils and Boston when he confronted referee Don Koharski after Game 3 in New Jersey on May 6, 1988. Angered by several calls, he waited for Koharski in runway outside the dressing room. He argued chest-to-chest with Koharski, and at one point, Koharski began to slip. Believing he had been pushed, Koharski told Schoenfeld he would never coach again, and Schoenfeld responded: "You're full of ****. You fell, you fat pig. Have another doughnut. Have another doughnut." The NHL suspended Schoenfeld for at least one game over the incident, but the Devils got a restraining order that allowed Schoenfeld to continue coaching. When Schoenfeld came out to coach in Game 4, the officiating crew refused to work, and replacement officials were used for that game. To resolve the controversy, the NHL suspended Schoenfeld for Game 5 on May 10, 1988. Schoenfeld later said he regretted making the comments.
