All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Do not mention the cup or finals again.
We have conference finals to worry about.

Carolina will be no cake walk but I think fans feel if they can beat Ottawa they can beat anyone. I agree, you can not take any team lightly in the playoffs. The Sabres-Ottawa series could of easily been 4-1 Ottawa with a couple things bouncing Ottawa's way.
These 2 teams are evenly matched. I don't think we'll see the physicalness of the last 2 series, but I do think that they will be higher scoring. Both teams have speed, both have hot goaltenders, both have a good D, both can score. While Carolina has more vets with "Playoff Experience" that hasn't stopped the Sabres from winning. Jersey was red hot coming into that series and Carolina smoked them in 5. Ottawa got side swiped by a hungry team. Should be a good match up.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
I'm looking forward to this series too. I look at the remaining teams, and I really like the chances of the team coming out of the East this season.
I think both teams are built for this "new" NHL, with the emphasis on speed and effort. Neither team has many "big names", both teams were written off as afterthoughts before the season started (Heck, we were almost unanimously picked to be the worst team in the league!) and both teams showed what heart can do.
I can take it if they lose, so my expectations are based on what I sincerely think they can do. If Buffalo fans should have learned one thing by now, it's how to endure disappointment.
