Re: OG signed
Buffalo is now a bit crowded at guard with Bates, Boettger, McGovern, Edwards and Mancz. I don't see Mancz making the team and Boettger could be in danger too unless he's willing to go on the PS. If McGovern and Edwards end up as starters, Bates probably is the primary backup at all three spots on the interior. Buffalo will probably sign a couple of young guys to the PS, maybe UDFAs.I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I'm tired of the bargain basement O-line.
Anyway, you forgot to add the rest of that sentence. Here’s the whole sentence; “Edwards, who's from Downers Grove, IL, gave up just six sacks in 2021, tied for sixth-best among offensive linemen that season was” Sixth-best among offensive linemen that season.” not sixth worst, but sixth best.Retired Air Traffic Controller

Re: OG signed
Are we allowing old coaches that had a player before to make these choices?
Concussion history scares me ..... availability is still a very critical ability.

Dion Dawkins allowed 4 sacks in 2021 as a tackle. Where was he ranked?

Re: OG signed
The Bills are doing exactly what they need to do.
They took care of the starting LG position with signing McGovern, who is an immediate upgrade from Saffold (younger too) and solidifies the left side of the O-line.
Now they are addressing the other weakness of O-line depth. Let these guys battle it out in training camp.
These signings make it easy to suspect that the mock drafts that has the Bills picking an IOL in the first round less likely.
Since there are no LB prospects that will be at #27 that are worth a 1st round pick, and the reality that there will almost assuredly be several WR’s that are....this draft is setting up to be what the Bills have ignored (to the teams detriment) for years....spending valuable draft currency on offensive skill weapons like WR.
If they draft ANY defensive player in round #1 this year, it will be a BIG mistake. Enough being in a defensive crouch. We have one of the best dynamic QB’s in the NFL...time to take advantage of those elite skills while he still is in his prime.
