Asked about the #Bills offense struggling at times and “not looking like an offense that can win the Super Bowl,” Josh Allen had a simple response:

Seen that, laughed.
Josh shoulder shrug, like WTF.
Not worried about the Super Bowl until they actually get to the Super Bowl.
Right now it's Miami next.Last edited by TacklingDummy; 12-12-2022, 01:56 AM.

Re: Sully's at it again....
Nowadays, the "reporters" have their narratives pre-determined and they go to these news conferences to seek materials to support their narratives. You see that in CNN, FOX, NBC, CBS, everywhere.
Sullivan is just a small time reporter that fits into that mold. He had the column written yesterday evening (https://www.wivb.com/jerry-sullivan/...edium=referral) and his statement (not even a question) was attempt to get some sort of confirmation from Josh to be quoted into his column.

Re: Sully's at it again....
We've been over this before. It's a long season. Nobody knows how well anyone will be playing in a month, what the injury situations for each team will be etc. But right now there is no team the Bills could not compete with. Sully is just being Sully

We all have our own eyes and know the Bills as well as the media, if not more.
Glass half full vs. glass half empty. Narratives. Op/eds.
They may be able to tell us how they look in practice. Yet we can all see how they play in the games.
Nothing they say carries any real weight.Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit

Re: Sully's at it again....
I have no problems with Sullivan, and not sure what the beef is because we've all noticed the wobble. If you actually read the piece he wrote, it was fine, it was pretty much what some of us have been noticing. I agree with it.
And I agree with what he said to Allen. Probably my only gripe, is that he failed to mold it into a question Allen could thoughtfully answer.
It's really not the same offense and it's hard (atm) to see them piling up points to go mano a mano with full throttle contenders. I'm honestly not sure what happens against Miami.
I still think Allen is not himself physically, Dorsey calls some odd plays, the receivers can't catch and the line struggles. But it's the same offense that rolled up to the bye with Allen on a pace to pass Peyton Mannings' passing yards record for a season. I mean something is wrong and it starts somewhere and you want to have hope or a feeling it's correctable and won't stay this way.
I can't pretend not to notice though.Last edited by Mace; 12-12-2022, 10:34 AM.

Re: Sully's at it again....
Jay Skursky of BN asked basically the same question (i.e. not particular play, mkre overall level). But he's more detailed and led to Dorsey to give some meaningful answer. And Dorsey mentioned some QB decisions as part of the issue.
I just think a statement like "hey it is not superbowl level offense" is more like two fans talk during the game, after the game, in a bar, at home whatnot. It is not the right question to ask a player in press conference after game. To me, I want to get some insight of decisions, feel of the game stuff. Players are not going to do fan talks in those settings.
