Interesting read. He's doing pretty well by this analysis.

Re: Stats for Taylors first 25 starts
Barring a 6 game disaster he's going to be our QB next year. We may as well route for him.
Re: Stats for Taylors first 25 starts
Interesting stats.
Taylor's cap hit for next year is $15.9 million.
That's a bargain compared to Andrew Luck's contract.
They're both 27 years old, but Taylor has more potential to grow.
Compare the two contracts...

Holy crap, the Colts are practically married to Andrew Luck. Ouch.
Taylor has a $17.6 million cap hit in 2020 vs. Luck's $28.4 million.
Gilmore is good as gone next year and will command $15 million a season.
I'd rather pay Taylor the money and let Gilmore get toasted by Tyrod in the years to come.
Re: Stats for Taylors first 25 starts
Not sure anyone disputes the fact that he's an efficient small ball QB for not many yards and few turnovers when his attempts are limited, which is nearly always, though.
Re: Stats for Taylors first 25 starts
Taylor is gonna cost 27 mil if he is on the roster next year, not to mention Taylor is a 6 year vet compared to Big Ben in his rookie year where he won a Super Bowl and Russel Wilson led the seahawks to a Super Bowl in year 2, Brady had a SuperBowl in year 1 as a starter, do I need to go on?

Gilmore would be the first, and probably only, cornerback Tyrod toasted.

With Taylor having 12 total completions for 166 yards and one passing TD, we might have different interpretations of "toasted" though, Imp.

Tap dancing was invented in the 1800's, Fo Sho, that was a bit of a reach.

I dont care what he costs, I care what cap hit he has. Spotrac has it at 15.9.

Re: Stats for Taylors first 25 starts
Minus the Browns, the Bills have the worst QB in the NFL.
If you don't watch other games, then you wouldn't notice just how awful Tyord is as a passer.
