Maybe it's just me, but this draft seems to be shaping up to be a good one for LB's. Hopefully we can solidify our entire corps (i.e. draft two of them if we stay in a 4-3) in this one draft.

I concur, if we can get a guy like Greg Jones (r3) on the inside and Justin Cole (r5) on the outside Id be very happy with this draft class.

Norfolk State WR Chris Bell declared:

I have no idea how much he is on the radar of NFL scouts or anything (i.e. if he'll get drafted or go UDFA route), but it's another PSU transfer leaving early. I figure DB will be interested in that.

This is actually pretty big news to me. He had 950ish yards receiving and 13 TD's this year. Former Penn State WR who was accused of pulling a knife on a fellow teammate.
He's 6'3, 205 and runs around 4.5 40. Very interesting news.

Sounds like some good stats and measurables. Here's some quotes from a PSU board on Bell that you might enjoy:
Quote:
Headline should be:
"Bell Taking Stab at NFL"
Quote:
I'm not sure he'll make the "cut".
Quote:
Guess he has to take a "hack" at it?
Quote:
He'll make it if he puts a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into it. (His own, this time)
Quote:
In all fairness, he didn't stab him, so maybe he could say he was just re-enacting the "This is a knife" scene from Crocodile Dundee or something.

Most people assumed he would, he was already a senior.

From the ESPN article:
Quote:
He could have stayed for a fifth season because he played just one game in 2007 because of injuries but opted for the NFL instead.
