Is the Arizona coyotes saga FINALLY nearing an end?

This is BAD. The yotes have front office representatives canvassing DOOR TO DOOR to get people to vote for the arena.
If this fails, I think it's over.
Re: Is the Arizona coyotes saga FINALLY nearing an end?
I wonder where they would move to. Arizona is already in the central so maybe Houston to keep the divisions straight?

Makes sense. No matter how much I want it to be the Nordiques again.

Yotes arena vote fails. Spectacularly.
Many are saying this is it and the NHL is HAS to relocate the franchise

We will see. The vote was for a 2.1B complex which included a rink. I wonder if the try again with just the rink. If not, Houston Coyotes here we come.

They can't keep coming back to the well. "well, let's try again!"
It's over. Unless the suns owner swoops in within a week or two and says "I'm building a new arena privately, come on over!".... It's over.

They had a billionaire willing to buy the team but it had to move and they said no. That was the last time the league owned the team so I won't put anything past the NHL IRT Phoenix.
I hope it is over. Hate seeing my once proud franchise jerked around like this.

The reality is bleak. They had been working on Tempe for years. They essentially have to start over. The yotes were already going to spend three more years at Mullet arena, and the BoG was not happy about that already.

It's really bleak and unless something comes out of nowhere, it's over. They may spend one more season in Arizona, but just pull that band aid off now
Re: Is the Arizona coyotes saga FINALLY nearing an end?
Yeah looks bad. Just give the Jets the records back and call the franchise whatever you want.

I did not see this one coming, but it's looking SLC. They have an NHL ready arena and are prepping to build a new one for the Olympics which the jazz would move into
