He was more than covered, it was another forced throw where Fitz determined before the snap where he was going.

yep, wasn't a good decision at all

Offense played great. Defense not so much. Some key stops but overall they didn't pressure Brady enough and LBs were horrible in coverage. Please no more Barnett on RBs.
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
That was on TJ, you have to cross the DBs face, you can't run behind him when the back of the endzone is an extra defender. Still a poor decision to target a rookie. Bad luck with the injuries..
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
Like I said, we were there at the end. Crucify who you want but we had our shot.

How was he covered? Graham was open but he was in the wrong spot. Look again...
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
The only reason we were in that game after the refs tried to give it to the Pats* was because of Fitz. Looked like a miss assignment on the rookie.

I actually think if fitz threw it to a better spot he was open. just had to throw it to the back of the endzone. No one will know if he ran the wrong route or not except the team when they look at the tape.
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
Big props to Cordy Glenn and the hogs up front, but specifically Glenn for gutting through it. Looked bad early in the game, got hurt a bit, but had a hell of a second half. Jones didn't do much after the first 20 minutes.

No he wasn't, D baited throw and Fitz took it. Bad decision, bad throw, bad route.

I think it depends on the play call, but on this one it was clear that Fitz expected Graham to cut under the safety and he went behind him instead.

Well yer wrong.
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
Yeah, I agree Mahdi.
The bigger problem is why we're targeting a smallish receiver on post, Graham's not going to body up a DB. We have no depth at receiver, that's the issue.

I'll agree with the bad route, but this offense's bread & butter, especially inside the opponent's 30, is receivers cutting across the face of the defender.

Yes because we've never seen Fitz throw a ball based on what he read pre-snap just to see the D bait him and make a play on it. How many times do you want to see the same damn thing before you realize its now always the call or WR's fault? He never even attempted a progression after the D changed. You noticed Graham doesn't cross the face, but don't care the Fitz still throws that pass? That's just being ridiculous.
Re: Buffalo Bills @ Pats GDT!!
[QUOTE=kingJofNYC;3711494]Yeah, I agree Mahdi.
I like the thinking to be honest. Graham can make that play if they're on the same page and the coverage is likely to roll to Chandler and Stevie.

Yes pre-snap showed it was the perfect route, at the snap they adjust and Graham goes behind the defender. As the QB you have to see the adjustment and not still throw the ball.

Its called a timing route. And the right coverage was there for a completion but Graham goes the wrong way. Its very obvious. Fitz was fine on that play. If Graham goes under its caught.

No it wasn't the right coverage that's the point. What they showed pre-snap was a disguise for what they were doing. Fitz never read the adjustment and neither did Graham. Its a horrible throw, horrible decision, and horrible route.
