I'm a little surprised the Cowboys would cut Elam. The Cowboys needs CB help, so cut him to pick up Evan Oglesby, who was cut by Baltimore.
You guys may remember Elam from ND, where he was kicked off the team after being accused of sexual assault. He was a backup SS in Dallas, but was a terrific ST player.
