But here we are
Its crazy. Watching that 5 goal game against Columbus, during intermission they asked the panel if they would take Eichel straight up for Tage. I remember Tochett pretty much saying something along the line of he would rather have Tage.
Think about that . 2 years ago he was a healthy scratch!

Here's something to think about. Obviously, I don't think Tage breaks out unless Eichel is moved. But let's pretend Eichel wasn't a diva. He stayed and somehow Tage boomed anyways. Now imagine Eichel on Tages wing.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
No game till Thursday now. Sabres can't get to Columbus.

It is what it is .... mother nature rules all.

Best thing for the Sabres, we had some dings across the lineup & no way we do now with 10 days off.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
Sabres game against the red wings tomorrow is likely to be postponed. According to lance lysowski. Sabres haven't practiced in a while because the driving ban, which just got extended

That...or not worrying about a 1st or 2nd line center for the next decade.

Well. I mean, I still want Bedard to somehow fall in the Sabres laps.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
Great to have hockey back. Mittelstadt buries the rebound. 1-0.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
Interesting. Having to watch online, only getting the Detroit feed. They mentioned, I did not know, that Tage Thompson bought Eichel's house when he got traded.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
We still give the puck away far to often. Set up a couple point blank scoring chances that UPL turned away.
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
5-0 with only 1 point from the big line so far!
Re: 2022-2023 Sabres Thread
They're trying to blow this. 3 goals given up in 7 minutes. 5-3

That puck went straight on his tape and you could tell he was surprised by it.
His second goal was just another lucky bounce.
Now, both of Okposo's goals were just great plays on the forecheck by Krebs and then Jost.

Okposo with the hatty!
