Sims is a very good choice. I was considering him for a draft in another sim league that was recently completed. Great sideline to sideline ability and they say Marinelli may turn him into Detroit's version of Derrick Brooks. Ability wise, he could fill that role. Time will tell if he actually does though.

Sims is one concussion away from being Terry Schiavo.

He's a good player, he just needs to learn to quit leading with his head, or his career will be very short.

Sorry FL I didnt see your trade offer until I made my pick.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Ya figure some guys fall in the NFL draft might do the same in here but that is clearly not the case. I wasn't big on Jimmy Williams but Winston I was hoping would slip back a little. Nice Pick.

I like Williams, his bad workouts hurt him a bit. But I think in the end that is something no one will remember.

Nice to see the Minnesota Vikings finally got their pick in

The Pimps continue to fix their OL. With stars all around offense but with glaring holes in needing a C, G and T we took Ferguson and Joseph on day one.

Hopefully both of these guys pan out into dominant players and fix our line for years to come. If they don't then I'm really screwed. I would still need them positions and wouldn't have anybody from day one this year.

But with stars like Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, Javon Walker, LJ Smith, Jamal Lewis and Donovan McNabb/Phillip Rivers, the Pimps needed to secure their OL to give these guys a chance to do their thing.

We have Gross and Steinbach who were both 8's but nothing but junk on the rest of the line.

The Pimps now wish they didn't waste 2 million dollars this offseason on Kwame Harris. We never dreamed Ferguson would fall to us.

We wanted Mangold instead of Joseph but at least our backup plan was still there.
