And yeah he should. Again if more coaches got a pair and benched these guys this crap would end. Yeah the NFLPA would file a grivance but who cares. The NFLPA can't dicate who plays and who doesn't.Originally Posted by billsburgh

Oh yeah, then we should cut McGahee, Parrish, Fletcher, and Vincent for not showing up.. it's voluntary for a reason, get over it!
It was meant as a joke MVP. More like a slap at Ice.
lol
Come on ICE, this is getting ridiculous, guys should be cut for not attending 'VOLUNTARY' activities? Why do we continue to have this conversation.

facts are the owners need to do something about this. If not, don't play them. Its pretty simple. Let the bastards sit and not earn one dime of extra bonuses.
Let the NFLPA take it to court. Its simple labor law, the NFLPA can't force then to play the guys.
This is so old, let's let it go. It is what it is, lazy overpaid brats.
VOLUNTARY!!!! <----Look that word up and see the definition.
isn't that part of the CBA? if so, the owners had their chance to do something about it but did not. it must not be that high on their priorities. I agree that they should be there, but there's nothing the staff can do to discipline players for not showing up to voluntary OTAs. It's just not in the team's best interest to not play thier best players if they dont show up for voluntary activities.Originally Posted by ICE74129
