All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

With McKee out for tonights game, and our D being as thin as it is..... I say we pull up Mike Leighton from Rochester and dress Marty Biron at D..... he could atleast help block some shots.... if nothing else he could make up for the shots that Jay would normally block!
2008-2009 BZHL Champion!
2008 Pro Football Pick 'em Champion!
2008 Survival Football Co-Champion!
2006-2007 3 Star Pick 'em Champion!

Grier plays good D,
As for Teppo and McKee,
I honestly think Teppo should be on the bench dressed or not, get him in a suit and have him withthe coaches...
a good sign is that Lydman, Fitzy and Campbell played well over 25 minutes each, leaving less time for Janik and Prolly Jillson,
Paetsh is an Offensive D man, will prolly play well with Jillson on the PP,
and i'll say it again, stuff we did in ottawa and Philly, that we arent doing vs Carolina is, SHOOTING FROM TEH FLIPPIN POINT! the power play the point men seem to not want to have the puck and immediately pass it off, Carolina is now collapsing low and wide to the walls to wash out our forwards, im telling you, lots and lots of ON NET point shots, deflections or screens ...
If Koats or Poms plays the point they need to shoot, Campbell and Jillson as well
I think you guys aren't giving your team enough credit. Game 7s are more about heart than skill. This game is simply going to come down to who wants it more.

I still think the Sabres will win, but with four of our defensemen out, I would never think that if we did lose it was because Carolina wanted it more.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. - John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961

to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient

and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac
