Miami wants a piece of Spikes..

Dolphins | Could Make a Run At Spikes - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
10:42 PT: The Sun-Sentinel reports the Miami Dolphins might take a run at Cincinnati Bengals LB Takeo Spikes once free agency begins. The Bengals have placed their transition tag on Spikes, which means they can match any offer any other team gives him. However, the transition tag does not require draft-pick compensation, so there could be many teams pursuing Spikes.

Why would spikes want to go to Miami, when he could come here?

In Miami, he'd be just another minor piece of that "great" defense - over here, he'd be a keystone.

Hopefully Spikes looks at the Miami Playoff history. Losing all those times to B-lo and getting lucky couple years back. And getting crushed 62-7 I think it was.

I could be wrong, I probably am actually. But does Spikes actually get a say, or would he have to go to the top bidder?

he goes to the team who he signs the offer sheet with, unless cincy matches that.. then in that case, he can stick with cincy or hold out.
