Wheatley has a choice to make

The team wants to re-sign backup running back Tyrone Wheatley because his powerful style is a nice complement to starter Charlie Garner, who is more of a slasher.

But Wheatley probably will test the free-agent market to see if there's a team willing to pay him more and make him a bigger part of its offense. Wheatley averaged 7.7 carries per game last season and might like more.

I always thought Wheatley was a decent back. He could probably start for some team in need of a RB.
