I do not like the jersey. I like the color, but the jersey sucks ass. All they need to do to improve it is draw a circle around the slug, throw in two crossed sabres below the slug and wallllaaaa! You have a great looking jersey. (minus the slug) I will not purchase any piece of clothing or merchandise with the slug on it. I promise!

I live very close to where the Anaheim DUCKS play in CA,
and everytime I see their logo, I LAUGH!

Before each home game where they are going to use the slug jersey, everyone should protest outside of HSBC and not let anyone in wearing anything with a slug on it. If I could be in Buffalo, I would be there.
The only way to hurt them, is to not buy anything with the slug,
DEMAND the original 3rd jersey, and especially at the Arena, speakout to the people that work there, how much you dislike it, and won't spend a cent on it.
I think that's the only way they'd really listen, if they can't make money on it, it will be gone faster than any protest would work.
Just make fun of it, anywhere that sells that slug.

I started a thread about how this slug logo is dividing the fans, I mean we're all SABRE fans, but this not unifying the fans.
I already know when I see a fan wearing the slug, I'm going to have negative comments, and it shouldn't be that way.

You're going to be waiting along time for the thirds I was down at the Sabres store today and asked when the third jerseys were going to be in and the guy (this is the head honcho) said "that they're looking at sometime in November and will only be available in limited amount of quantities". meaning first come, first serve basis and once they're gone, they're gone.
I didn't want to change to the goat either, but at least it looked half way decent, the SLUG is an embarrassing joke, that I can't live with.

Right now they're getting all the gullable fans to buy the slug, then they'll slowly put out the 3rd. I've got mine, being a SABRE fan my whole life, I've got my originals, bring on the season, but I'm still doing all I can to illiminate that slug logo.
