The Playas opened the season with a dominating 46-21 win at Kansas City. The only thing that did click for Los Angeles was the passing game which they have assured they will get in check for next week for the home opener against the hated Jersey ****. The Playas defense forced 5 turnovers and had 10 sacks and dominated the UnSuper Deuces all day. Specials teams chimed in with a TD return by Jerome Mathis and a solid day by Neil rackers and Larry Johnson had a great day in his first start with the Playas.

The Playas announced that the ahve officially acquired Tommie Harris DT from the Saburz yeaterday. " Anytime you deal with Las vegas its a gamble, but we feel that the deal was worth it for us this year and considering that Tommie is young it will help us for years to come. Giving up DeWayne was a no brainer and giving up Nick was essential for the deal to get done, we have a pretty young team so throwing in a 2 nd rd pick next year shouldnt hurt us. In all we feel this is a winning move that upgrades our weakest position significantly and moves us more in the direction we want to be in this year as a championship team.
