    Question How does IR work?

    i have garcia injured for 8 weeks.i'm just wondering how the IR works and how does it affect your salary cap.if you have to get another player,does he count towards the salary cap?i checked The Constitution and didn't see anything.(very time consuming too)somebody let me know.thanks.

    he would be ineligible to play the rest of the year and his total salary still counts against your cap, any street FA you sign will be given a salary of $500,000
